Bluewater Trails Half Marathon and 10 km Run Walk

The Bluewater Trails Half Marathon and 10 km Road Race features a course that starts and finishes in Brights Grove and takes athletes along a scenic tour of the beautiful Bluewater Trail system at the height of the fall colors. The event is hosted by St. John in the Wilderness Anglican Church, Brights Grove and all proceeds from the event will go to Bluewater Health Foundation.

 

The Half Marathon and the 10 km will be competitive running races open to individual athletes. They will be timed events with awards to the top three male and female athletes in each age group.

The Half Marathon and the 10 km events will also be open to walkers in a non competitive division who will have times recorded.

All athletes will receive finisher’s medals and a themed technical T-shirt.

The Half Marathon and 10 km race starts and finishes at Brights Grove Public School, Brights Grove, Ontario.

Start times

Half Marathon Walkers: 7:30 AM.

Half Marathon Runners and 10 km Walkers 8:30 AM

10 km Runners: 9:30 AM

All proceeds from the event will go to Bluewater Health. Athletes are encouraged to collect pledges in support of Bluewater Health.

Race packet  pickup and last minute registration will be Thursday October 14 and Friday October 15 at the Sarnia Running Room/Walking Room from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.The Sarnia Running room is located in the Lambton Mall, Lambton Mall Road, Sarnia, Ontario. Race packet pickup is also available race morning in the Gymnasium of Brights Grove Public School starting at 7:00 AM. There is no race morning registration.
